Our first PAC meeting of 2026 will include a presentation by school counsellor Kasey Chittenden, focusing on the course planning process for students. We warmly invite parents to join us to learn more about:

Navigating the school website to view course planning information
How to support students in making informed choices
To be mindful of everyone’s time, Mrs. Chittenden will be accepting questions in advance of the meeting via this link: Course Planning Questions – Fill out form. She will address the questions in her presentation.

please email pointgreyattendance@vsb.bc.ca for reporting absences. Please make sure to include in the email the following information to avoid delays in updating attendance records:
Student’s first and last name
Student number
Grade
Date(s) of absence
Time of absence or periods of missed classes
Reason for absence
Provincial Assessments for Grade 10 & 12 Students
The Grade 12 Literacy Assessment, originally scheduled for November 3–7, 2025, was postponed. It will now take place January 12–16, 2026.
The Grade 10 Numeracy Assessment will proceed as planned during January 19–23, 2026.
These assessments are mandatory graduation requirements, so please ensure students are available and avoid scheduling appointments during these dates. Students should check the lists posted outside the office for students to see what date and time they are writing.
